Ferndale Housing Waiting List Opens August 15, 2007

PUBLIC NOTICE Low-Income Housing Open Waiting List The Ferndale Housing Commission will distribute applications for the Public Housing and the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Programs on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, and on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m at 415 Withington, Ferndale, MI 48220. Eligible applicants cannot exceed the U.S. Department of HUD’s income limits for the Detroit Metro Area and must meet the suitability requirements for the individual programs. Applications must be returned to the office of the Ferndale Housing Commission, 415 Withington, Ferndale, MI 48220 by close of business (5:00 p.m.) on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Applications may be returned in person, by mail, or by private carrier and must be complete with all required documentation. Facsimile submissions will not be accepted. Applications will be selected for placement on the Housing Commission wide waiting list by utilizing a lottery system of a random drawing of 1,000 names. Applications will be placed on the waiting list in the order they were selected.
